The TASA Executive Coaching Network can strategically pair you with an experienced executive coach who is trained to guide you through a thought-provoking and creative coaching process. The TASA Executive Coaching Network offers one-on-one coaching packages for first-time superintendents, experienced superintendents and other executive leaders, and even aspiring superintendents! We also offer group coaching packages for small groups of superintendents and other executive leaders, and team coaching for district executive leadership teams. We can even facilitate your executive leadership team’s all-day team-building retreat!

FTSA 6-Session Coaching Package
Free Virtual Sessions for Participants of TASA’s First-Time Superintendents Academy (FTSA)
Novice superintendents can build confidence and effectiveness by pairing executive coaching with mentoring and participation in the TASA First-Time Superintendents Academy. This 6-session coaching package is underwritten by grant funds through the Texas Leadership Center and available to any new superintendent registered for FTSA. Includes administration and interpretation of the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Modes Instrument.

Novice superintendents can continue to build traction in the role by extending the executive coaching relationship with this 12-session coaching package that is partially underwritten by grant funds through the Texas Leadership Center. This package is available to any new superintendent registered for the TASA First-Time Superintendents Academy (FTSA) who has completed the 6-session FTSA Complimentary coaching package.

Being a leader in education can be challenging, and partnering with an executive coach can be a gamechanger. This 12-session package provides the greatest impact for superintendents and other executive leaders who want to partner with an executive coach to help achieve your goals, inspire growth, and fulfill your potential as a leader. Organize a group of colleagues or be randomly assigned to a group. Confidentiality is strictly enforced.

Virtual Group Coaching Sessions for 3-6 Superintendents
Recommended for experienced superintendents, group coaching is a valuable way to develop your leadership along with peer superintendents who share your experiences and goals. An executive coach will guide the small group (3 minimum, 6 maximum) through a series of coaching sessions tailored to the group’s needs. Organize a group of colleagues or be randomly assigned with other leaders to expand your network. Confidentiality is strictly enforced.

Virtual Team Coaching Sessions for District Leadership Teams
Team coaching can take even the highest performing teams to the next level of leadership, collaboration, and effectiveness. An experienced executive coach will facilitate your team’s work toward achieving goals and addressing constraints that stand in the way of achieving full potential. Team coaching is the perfect complement to the work of superintendents who are working with an executive coach – the entire team grows together!

Team-building Retreat
Full-day, In-person Team-building Retreat
Team-building retreats are one important approach to helping teams “reform” during transition or “reboot” team energy and commitment if you’ve been on the leadership journey together for a while. The team-building retreat can be conducted in-person at the location of your choice (off-site experience recommended). Goals and topics for the retreat will be developed in collaboration with the superintendent or designated team representative. The Team-building Retreat paired with a 12-or 6-session Team Coaching Package is suggested to gain solid traction for steady, long-term leadership.

Were you a registered participant of the most recent (2025) Aspiring Superintendent Academy? Take advantage of this special package that includes 3 impactful coaching sessions intended to address the high points of your readiness and preparation for your first job as a superintendent. Whether you are currently applying or planning for the future, this package will help you build confidence and mindset for the preparation, application, and interviewing process to come! (Each Aspiring Superintendents Academy participant may purchase this package one time.)

We can’t guarantee you will secure the superintendent job, but you can be assured that you will be prepared for the opportunity to apply and interview! This special coaching package partners aspiring superintendents with seasoned superintendents for coaching on all aspects of preparing, applying, interviewing, and beginning the first superintendent job.
