How to Use TASA’s New Member Services Center

TASA has launched a brand-new TASA Member Services Center. Below you’ll find information to help you get logged in and start navigating your online profile.

Getting Started: Create a New Login

Current TASA members and other individuals who had user accounts in the old TASA Member Services Center were sent an email that contained a personalized link. If you received that email, click the provided link to create your new login (on your desktop or laptop computer rather than your phone). This will link your new MSC account to your old MSC record.

For TASA members, using that link is very important. It ensures your new MSC account shows your current membership status and provides you with the right level of access inside the MSC. Do not attempt to reset your password before following that link.

Q: What if I didn’t receive that email?

If you did not receive an email with a personalized link, go to the new MSC login page and enter the email address you used to log in to the old MSC. Then click on “Forgot your password?” to reset your password and log in.

Q: What if I don’t remember if I had an account in the old MSC?

If you don’t remember if you had an account in the old MSC, go to the new MSC login page and click on “Account Lookup.” Enter the email address you most likely used to log in to the old MSC to find out if it is already in the system (and avoid creating a duplicate account). Then click on “Forgot your password?” to reset your password and log in.

Q: What if I am certain I did not have an account in the old MSC?

If you are sure you did not have an account in the old MSC, go to the new MSC login page and click on “Create user account?”. Enter your email address and choose a password to log in.

How to Access the MSC

If you have just created your new login (see above), you’ll be logged in and should be sent to your new MSC profile.

Tip: If you are logged in, click on MY ACCOUNT at the top right of the screen at any time to return to your MSC profile.

If you already set up your new login and logged out, but are returning to the MSC, go to the TASA homepage and click the MY ACCOUNT button on the top right of the page. If you are not logged in, it will take you to the log-in page, where you must enter your email address and new password (see above) to access the new MSC.

Your MSC Profile Page

Each person who creates a user account in the new TASA MSC will have a Profile page that looks similar to the one on the right. On the main Profile page, you can:

  • Upload a photo.
  • Update your name.
  • Update your gender, ethnicity, birthdate, salary (needed for Active Category members only to calculate annual dues), public education career start date, and tell us which job functions resemble yours so we can better tailor our communications to you.
  • Provide your X (formerly Twitter) handle, if applicable.

Contact Information Page

Using the left navigation (under your photo and name), select Contact Information to go to a page where you can:

  • Update your district/organization, job title, primary email address, primary phone number, primary address, and information about your assistant, if applicable.

    1. Create a new email address.
    2. Edit an existing email address.
    3. Delete an email address on file.

You may currently join/renew ONLY for the 2023-24 membership year, which ends August 31, 2024. TASA does not prorate dues. We will open membership/renewals for the 2024-25 school year in August. TASA memberships are NOT refundable or transferable.
  • Toggle, using the tabs at the top of the page, to view the status of your district subscriptions and access your communications preferences. (Please note that the subscriptions tab is still under construction. The information shown here will not yet be accurate for your district. Thank you for your patience as we build out the MSC; please know that your subscriptions are on record and visible to staff.)
