TASA’s mission is to promote, provide and develop leaders who create and sustain student-centered schools and develop future-ready students. We envision innovative, future-focused leaders for every public school student.
Who We Are
Founded in 1925, we are the professional association for Texas school superintendents and other administrators. We support leaders from school districts both large and small, rural and urban, and from every corner of the state.
What Guides Us
TASA’s Constitution & Bylaws are basic organizational rules. “The Texas Promise: A Vision for the Future,” is a new visioning document that will guide TASA’s strategic planning efforts in 2026-27 and the organization’s evolution for years to come.
Our Future
TASA’S Declaration is an expression of our vision, mission, and beliefs. The TASA Strategic Framework was a long-range plan developed by the TASA 2025 Task Force and launched in 2018. Thanks to the hard work of TASA members, leaders, and staff, we have achieved all the aspirations set forth for the association as of 2025! Watch the video above to hear about what’s next for TASA!
