About Me

My coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that the most effective leaders lead with integrity, courage, and a willingness to remain vulnerable and open to growth. I view coaching as a trusted partnership that creates space for honest reflection, thoughtful challenge, and purposeful action. My goal is to help leaders gain clarity, strengthen their leadership capacity, and navigate complex challenges with confidence while remaining true to their values and purpose.

After nearly 37 years in public education, including 20 years as superintendent of Los Fresnos CISD, I retired from the superintendency and now serve as Division Director for TASB’s Executive Search and Field Services. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the demands of educational leadership and strengthened my commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of leaders.

As an executive coach and thought partner, I listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, challenge assumptions when appropriate, and help leaders recognize opportunities and perspectives they may not have considered. Rather than prescribing answers, I work alongside leaders to identify solutions that align with their unique circumstances, priorities, and aspirations.

I believe leadership development extends beyond improving individual performance. It is about cultivating self-awareness, resilience, and intentional leadership practices needed to develop others, foster healthy organizational cultures, and improve outcomes for students and communities. My purpose as a coach is to help leaders become more effective, reflective, and confident in their ability to lead with purpose and create a positive impact.
