The September/October issue of Texas School Business highlights a district turnaround in DeSoto ISD under the leadership of Superintendent Usamah Rodgers. TASA continues its centennial celebration with a look back at 100 years of TASA presidents and membership, plus a listing of TASA’s Honorary Life Members. The latest “Higher Education” by Stacey Edmonson and Abbie Strunc focuses on pathways and promises for aspiring Texas educators. “Tech Take” is penned by the TETL Next Digital Shift Committee, and addresses how to survive deficit budgets.
