At its March 26, 2025, meeting, the TASA Executive Committee ratified the election of Lamar CISD Superintendent Roosevelt Nivens as 2025-26 TASA president-elect. He currently serves as the 2024-25 TASA vice president.

In January, the committee elected San Elizario ISD Superintendent Jeannie Meza-Chavez as the 2025-26 TASA vice president. She currently serves as the representative for Region 19 on the Executive Committee.

Current President-elect Chris Moran, superintendent, San Angelo ISD, will assume the position of 2025-26 TASA president on June 1, when Nivens and Meza-Chavez also begin their one-year terms.

Tomball ISD Superintendent Martha Salazar-Zamora, TASA’s current president, will begin her one-year term as immediate past president June 1.
