In 2025, TASA is not just celebrating our 100th birthday. Thanks to the hard work of TASA members, leaders, and staff, we are also celebrating the fulfillment of all the aspirations set forth in the TASA Strategic Framework — the long-range plan developed by the TASA 2025 Task Force and launched in 2018. The July/August issue of Texas School Business features the hard work Superintendent Shelly Slaughter has done to change the culture in Cumby ISD. The issue also features profiles on new TCWSE President Martha Salazar-Zamora and new TASPA President Johjania Nájera.
