As noted in our December 11 Capitol Watch Alert, TASA has partnered with the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) to submit a letter to Gov. Greg Abbott and the COVID-19 Expert Vaccine Allocation Panel asking that they keep school personnel in mind when determining who is eligible for vaccinations during the early stages of distribution.

Your local school board may choose to support this endeavor by adopting a local resolution and sharing it with your locally and statewide elected leaders. When doing so, please feel free to reference the resources provided in the earlier Capitol Watch Alert or the language of the letter itself.
