CSHB 2 includes about $8 billion in funding for public education, with:
- $4.2 billion earmarked for teacher compensation
- Small and mid-sized school adjustment multiplier increased from 0.06 to 0.07, generating $255 million over the biennium (funds may be used for leasing facilities, property taxes, and bond payments)
- $270 million for teacher preparation, certification, and rights
- $1.3 billion for special education
- $677 million for early learning
- $153 million for CTE
- $1.3 billion for school finance reforms that include a $55 increase to the basic allotment
