Associate Membership

If you or a company/organization you represent wish to share your products and services with top school district leaders, join TASA as an Associate Member. (School district, ESC, university, or state agency personnel are not eligible for Associate Membership; they must join in the College + University + State Agency category.)

Annual Dues

$290 (Associate Members do NOT have the right to vote, hold office, or receive legal support from TASA.)

Associate Members who would like to become part of a select group that recognizes the importance of developing and sustaining the association as a preeminent advocate for public education are invited to add on Sustaining Membership for $100 above the regular membership dues.

  • information that helps you stay informed on public education in Texas — Receive daily education news via our popular TASA Daily e-newsletter and Capitol Watch Alert legislative/policy emails, comprehensive bill summaries, our INSIGHT professional journal, Texas School Business magazine, and a host of other tools and resources to stay up to date on education issues. In response to the challenges that COVID-19 has created, TASA is also now providing members with some additional resources and tools, including our new Inspiring Leaders podcast series and TASA Live Virtual Event series.
  • exposure in TASA membership directory — You will receive a copy of TASA’s annual membership directory, Who’s Who in Texas Public Schools, which includes up-to-date contact information for school districts across the state. You will also be listed in the directory as an associate member and supporter of TASA.

  • advertising opportunities — In addition to the opportunity to advertise in the membership directory, a variety of other advertising options, including our journal INSIGHT, emailed to more than 3,000 prominent educators, is available. Advertising in Texas School Business magazine is also an option.

  • online exposure — Associate members are listed on our website.

  • one-on-one contact at conferences and exhibits — There is no substitute for developing contacts one-on-one. TASA offers you the opportunity to exhibit your products and services at major conferences, including the TASA Midwinter Conference, the Texas Assessment Conference, and the annual TASA/TASB Convention.
