    The 2026-27 TASA School Board Awards Committee will meet virtually no later than the week of July 29, 2026, to discuss the regional nominations and choose up to five "Honor Board" finalists, which will be interviewed in the fall.  

  • Live Virtual Event: Federal Tax Credits for Schools Under OBBB (now July 30)

    TASA members are invited to a free live Zoom briefing at 1 p.m. July 15 or July 30 (was July 29 but had to be moved due to an important DC briefing) on the new federal K-12 Tax Credit Scholarship Program created through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB). Beginning in 2027, the program will allow taxpayers to receive a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit of up to $1,700 for donations to approved Scholarship Granting Organizations.
