$845 – $945TASA’s First-Time Superintendents Academy (FTSA) — the go-to training for beginning Texas superintendents for over 30 years — has been designed around the most important learning outcomes for first- and second-year superintendents.
Session 3: Advocacy at the State and Local Levels | November 2-3, 2022
Check in on the success of your 90-day plan, find out what you need to know about advocacy at the state level, and dig into superintendent contract issues, the superintendent evaluation instrument, and managing crisis through communication. Continue work on your portfolio.
Schedule
Day One: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (breakfast, lunch included)
Day Two: 7:30 a.m. – noon (breakfast included)

A rate of $142 per night is available from Tuesday, November 1, to Thursday, November 3, 2022.
The deadline to take advantage of the group rate is Saturday, October 22.

Registration is now open for both the full academy (Sessions 1-4) and for Session 1 for those attending just that session.

Cancellations
There are no cancellations for individual academy sessions; however, if you cannot attend a session you registered for, you may attend the same session the following year. If you are registered for Session 3 of the First-Time Superintendents Academy but unable to attend, please complete the cancellation/substitution request form to be posted here. If you must cancel your participation in the academy as a whole, there is a cancellation fee of $75.
