  • District School Board Award Nominations Due

    Any Texas superintendent of schools who is a member of TASA and who has been serving in his/her current position since at least July 1, 2024, other than the TASA president at the time the awards will be made, may nominate his/her board of trustees for the 2026 School Board Awards by collecting and submitting data supportive of the criteria.   • School Board Awards Honor Board Judging

    The 2026-27 TASA School Board Awards Committee will meet virtually no later than the week of July 29, 2026, to discuss the regional nominations and choose up to five "Honor Board" finalists, which will be interviewed in the fall.  

  • TASA Announces Honor School Boards

    No later than this date, TASA will announce which school boards were chosen by the TASA School Board Awards Committee as 2026 Honor Boards. Learn more about the School Board Awards program.
