Since 1984, the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Superintendent of the Year (SOTY) award program has honored outstanding administrators for achievement and excellence in public school administration. A local school board that is currently an “Active Member” of TASB may nominate its superintendent. Nominees must meet certain requirements. Nominations for the 2020 award are due to the designated regional education service center by May 8, 2020 (the deadline has been extended).
