Quentin Burnett, 66, who served as the 1998-99 TASA president and was an Honorary Life Member, passed away June 12.
While TASA president, Burnett served as superintendent of Greenwood ISD, but he also held the top job in Argyle and Johnson City ISDs. His 40-year career also included service as a math teacher, coach, principal, and as a central office administrator in Birdville and Lewisville ISDs. He retired in 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 17, at Calvary Baptist Church (410 N. Marshall St., Henderson, Texas). Interment will follow at Glenfawn Cemetary.
