Care Solace: Mental Health Service Provider Finder for TASA Members

Life is hard, and so is leadership. So even though you might be thriving as a leader, you may feel parts of your personal or professional life need attention, especially if you’re feeling stressed, depressed, or burned out. But who has time to navigate the complicated health care and insurance maze to secure assistance? Care Solace can help, so TASA partners with the mental health care coordination service to help TASA members and their families connect to quality care.

At no cost to you, Care Solace will help you confidentially find available mental health and substance use treatment providers matched to your needs and insurance.

Care Solace connects TASA members and their families to mental health care that can be delivered by in-person, local care providers or virtually. The fully anonymous service enables you to search for mental health services based on location, available health benefits, and need (from counseling to residential treatment).

Care Solace’s Care Team can help you identify qualified providers, make phone calls and handle wait times, schedule appointments, facilitate a warm transition into care, and follow up to ensure you connected with the care you needed.

Why Do Texans Need Help Accessing Care?

According to a 2023 comparison by Forbes Advisor, Texas ranks No. 1 among worst states for mental health care. Accessing mental health is more challenging in the state because of high costs, too few mental health treatment centers, and lack of health insurance coverage.

Pathways of Care

Care Solace’s proprietary care navigation system provides access to verified mental health resources, including psychiatry and psychology providers, crisis intervention and telehealth.

What Care Solace Does

The multilingual Care Team has expert experience in navigating barriers to accessing mental health care and is available to help TASA members and their families 24 hours a day, 7 days per week in any language. This includes nights, weekends, holidays, and breaks. They will help you understand your options, call providers on your behalf, and schedule appointments.

Please note: Care Solace is not an emergency response service or mental health services provider. In the event of a life threatening emergency, call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 800.273.8255.

Identifies Qualified Providers

Care Solace will find you care, regardless of your insurance plan: private, Medicare, sliding scale, or even no coverage.

Connects You to Care

The Care Solace Care Team will call within minutes and secure you an appointment within days, not weeks or months. They handle the phone calls and the wait times.

Matches You to Care for Your Needs

Care Solace matches you with culturally and gender appropriate care based on your needs, including LGTBQI+, sexual violence and trauma, and faith-based support.

Handles it Anonymously

The Care Solace Team understands how hard it can be to let others know you need help and offers an anonymous path to securing care. If you prefer, you may use Care Solace’s Care Match™, a proprietary web-based system that enables an anonymous pathway to care, with just the click of a button.
