DESCRIPTION:The 2024-25 Budget Cohort for Texas District Leaders is a series of nine events to be held throughout the school year. It is designed to allow your district to better utilize its finance and business functions to support and enhance other areas\, including curriculum and instruction\, human resources\, and special programs\, so your superintendent\, chief financial officer\, chief curriculum officer\, and human resources officers should attend together. Up to three team members are included in the registration fee! All training will be led by subject matter experts identified by TASA\, TASB\, and TASBO and will follow this schedule of topics. \nThis Training Session\n\nThe September 10 training\, conducted 10 a.m.-12 p.m.\, is the first training of the school year and focuses on: \n\nWhat is Budget Cohort? Importance of the Cross-Functional Team\n2025-2026 Budget Adoption process\nLandscape Analysis: Polling Activity about the budget process with share out\nBudget Calendar Presentation and Create Your Own\n\n\nCPE Credit\nThe 2024-25 Texas District Leaders Budget Cohort will receive 30 hours of training. \nRegistration\n\nNew for 2024-25: Bring up to four people from a district for $3\,750 per team for all nine events. (Previously the rate was for up to three people.) DESCRIPTION:TASA partners with N2 Learning to offer the Assistant Principal Leadership Academy (APL)\, which not only prepares assistant principals to take on the role of principal\, but also helps them to grow as transformational leaders. APL has a virtual cohort as well as regional cohorts that meet in-person. The regional cohorts allow assistant principals to learn alongside peers from neighboring districts and allow districts to minimize travel expenses for attendees.
