DESCRIPTION:TASA partners with N2 Learning to offer the Assistant Principal Leadership Academy (APL)\, which not only prepares assistant principals to take on the role of principal\, but also helps them to grow as transformational leaders. For 2020-21\, the academy is being conducted virtually for health and safety reasons. APL includes six\, half-day sessions throughout the school year. \nSessions\nSession 1: September 15\, 2020\nSession 2: October 20\, 2020\nSession 3: December 3\, 2020\nSession 4: February 9\, 2021\nSession 5: April 20\, 2021\nSession 6: June 7\, 2021 \nFormat\nAll 2020-21 sessions of APL will be conducted online\, allowing assistant principals to learn alongside their peers from across the state\, rather than in regional cohorts. \nRegistration\n$600 per person for six\, half-day online sessions \nREGISTER

DESCRIPTION:Since April 2020\, TASA has been engaging superintendents and central office leaders in real-time\, relevant online conversations\, and we are excited to expand this concept to connect members regionally across Texas with a new series of TASA Live Virtual Events — TASA Regional Summits! \nHosted online\, these events provide TASA members with access to critical updates and information related to governmental relations and advocacy\, professional learning\, and other opportunities for member engagement. They also allow you to connect with colleagues from within your own and surrounding regions\, and engage in honest\, upfront conversations with other leaders who are facing leadership challenges and opportunities. \nOur fifth and final TASA Regional Summit of the school year will be held exclusively for Active-category TASA members in Education Service Center Regions 12\, 13\, 14\, and 15 on Thursday\, April 22\, 4-5:30 p.m. (TASA members in those regions will receive an email invitation with a registration link.) \nTASA members in other regions were invited to TASA Regional Summits earlier in the school year.
