The 2022-23 Future-Ready Superintendents Leadership Network (FRSLN) cohort will participate in a series of events centered around the emerging needs of school leaders while maintaining an emphasis on the principles outlined in the TASA visioning document, Creating a New Vision for Public Education in Texas.

2022-23 FRSLN Event Series

In 2022-23, the experiences will continue to be superintendent-designed and superintendent-led with the help and support of TASA.

Day One for each event will likely be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a group dinner. Day Two for each will likely be 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Event 1 (Kickoff): Empowering Teachers to Thrive

October 25-27, 2022 | San Antonio (Northside ISD)
Participants will learn how to create schools in which teachers have healthy, supportive, and meaningful environments for great teachers to want to join the profession, stay in the profession, and thrive in the profession.

October 25, 2-5: p.​m.​ – New District Induction Event for New FRSLN Participants/Districts

Event 2: Branding

November 30-December 1, 2022 | Tomball ISD
Participants will learn new ways to engage with their respective communities. They will also gain a true understanding of our purpose of helping to develop students who possess the skills and aptitudes to navigate an uncertain world, and who are productive, independent, and engaged citizens.

Event 3: Leading and Learning

March 1-2, 2023 | Blue Ridge ISD
Participants will consider how learning organizations develop structures and systems for shared leadership and develop capacity in all areas of the district.

Fees and Additional Seats

The fee to cover 2022-23 event-related expenses is $745 per participating superintendent. Superintendents chosen to participate may request up to three additional seats for members of their team (central office or campus leaders) for an additional $645 each. If superintendents choose to add extra seats, they do not have to bring the same three team members to all FRSLN events; they may bring different leaders to each event. Before each event, they will be asked to provide the name(s) of team members who will attend with them. Please note that superintendents who are selected to participate must attend FRSLN events with their team members; team members may not be sent in their place.
