$845 – $945TASA’s First-Time Superintendents Academy (FTSA) — the go-to training for beginning Texas superintendents for over 30 years — has been designed around the most important learning outcomes for first- and second-year superintendents.
Session 4: Setting Direction for Your District | February 22-23, 2023
Focus on finance and end-of-year issues, learn about engaging your board in school transformation, and setting a vision and direction as superintendent. Create a plan for moving into the next school year.
Schedule
Day One: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (breakfast, lunch included)
Day Two: 7:30 a.m. – noon (breakfast included)

A rate of $142 per night is available from Tuesday, February 21, 2023, to Thursday, February 23, 2023.
The deadline to take advantage of the group rate is Saturday, February 4, 2023.

Registration is now open for both the full academy (Sessions 1-4) and for Session 1 for those attending just that session.
REGISTER ONLINERegistration for those attending just Session 4 will be open November 4, 2022, through February 21, 2023.
Cancellations
There are no cancellations for individual academy sessions; however, if you cannot attend a session you registered for, you may attend the same session the following year. If you are registered for Session 4 of the First-Time Superintendents Academy but unable to attend, please complete the cancellation/substitution request form to be posted here. If you must cancel your participation in the academy as a whole, there is a cancellation fee of $75.
