Since 1960, the Convention has been designed to give leadership teams training unique to their roles in the state’s public school system. Board members, superintendents, and key administrators and staff are encouraged to attend together to learn more about issues facing our districts as well as their solutions.
Highlights of the event include relevant, practical programming, exhibits to help you find the best products and services for your schools, field trips, student performances and demonstrations, and other special attractions to enhance your experience and keep you engaged.
"Bite-sized" training in 20 minutes.
Students from surrounding districts highlight culinary arts, career and technical education (CTE), and visual arts programs in their schools. Hands-on demonstrations throughout the day. View student-led video from a previous event.
Common-issue discussions with peers-some pre-planned, some off-the-cuff.
One-on-one conversations with award-winning architectural firm representatives.
We partner with the Texas Art Education Association to bring you hundreds of innovative and inspirational works of art from schoolchildren across the state.
And, just as important, the opportunity to meet and talk with your peers from across the state. While you’ll hear from authors, leaders, and other stakeholders, you’ll also hear directly from other districts like yours.
We look forward to seeing you this year!
